Sleepy Time

       Good evening yes i am up at one in the morning :). I am writing to catch up on the last five months! Its crazy to think that after two years of dating that we have been married a quarter of that time. A lot of the time all of the time that Jared and i have spent together it kind of all morphs into one. It kinda just feels like we have been married for 3 years which is definitely not a bad thing. I have absolutely loved being married to my best friend i cant even believe how lucky i am to have this. The last five months have been pretty uneventful. Before we got married we were just about to start building a house. Well we got married took forever deciding exactly everything that we wanted, ( And what we could afford because surprisingly we are not millionaires. ) We finally started building last month YAY!!! I am so excited to have a place to call home. I like the place we are now other then the heat sometimes but i have not allowed myself to really let it feel like home, since we were only planning on being here for 4 months tops. At least we will be in by the holidays right? So far since being married we have been on two camping trips. I am not at all a camper i like being warm under a blanket on a soft bed at the end of the night. Jared has been very good at making sure that on these camping trips that i am quite comfortable which requires him to pack about 4 times the amount he would normally bring camping haha. The last camping trip we went on was just over the weekend we drove/off roaded to this lake in American Fork Canyon  its really pretty and we have been camping here before. This time i must say i really enjoyed myself a lot more then i have in the past. I am not sure if it was because i am getting better at this kind of thing or if i was just all hopped up on s'mores :). It was great we went just Jared and I and our friend Joe. I think the very best thing about camping is its usually in a place where you don't get cell reception. This is awesome because you really get to know people without any distractions or just spend time with the people you love without any stresses of the outside world. We woke up the next morning and met up with some more friends and continued our adventure off roading all morning. It was soooooooooo much fun and totally crazy i took lots of pictures but its really sad because pictures and videos don't do it like any justice at all but here are some any way!

Married life

Today I must say feeling particularly grateful for my life. I'll catch up since I haven't posted for a while. Jared and I got married in the salt lake temple on April 7th. Nothing. Can describe the excitement I felt that day knowing not only was I marrying my best friend but that he would be by my side for all of eternity! I will post pictures when I get them :) the reception that night could not have been more perfect it was laid back simple and filled with good friends and family.
For our honeymoon we went to the happiest place on earth DISNEYLAND! It was such a fun time we laughed saw shows sat through the parade and went on almost every ride even the super kiddie rides. It was so fun to just hang out without work or stress. After our time in Disneyland we flew to Dallas for our open house. While we were out there we ate ourselves silly and hung out with family. We went downtown one night and watched this really cool street performer guy who was doing these awesome paintings with spray paint. Jared's mom put on our open house on the 14th it was so beautiful! She made amazing food and some very pretty flower arrangements she even made the table cloths she definitely went above and beyond. I am so lucky to have such great in laws both his parents and all his siblings are great! From what I hear that's pretty rare to get along with everyone whew! Sadly we had to return to normal life after our Dallas trip.
After a three hour flight and a ten hour drive we finally arrived home in draper Utah. I was so excited for this time I finally get to wake up to Mr. Palfreyman in the morning and fall asleep next to him every night in our tiny little home. I love where we are living right its so cute and small it's a 400 square foot studio over a garage. It's just a cozy place to be for newlyweds. But we are very anxious and excited to finish our home in saratoga springs once it starts going up I'll post pictures. Our lot is awesome it has a great view of Utah lake and our back yard is right against a very cute little park. It's the perfect place to (eventually) start a family.
I am so lucky to have such a great husband I seriously think he is the best and so perfect for me. He is so supportive of my dreams, he keeps me working toward them. He helps me see the big picture of where things are going. He is such a hard worker and so loving towards me. I love everything about him I love that he has a quiet strength about him and that around me he his a totally goofy person. Some nights we will just laugh and laugh till it hurts. So far marriage is great and I can't wait to see where life takes us on this great journey together!

Disney Love and the Engagment

             I am obsessed with Disney as many of you may know. I get more excited about Disneyland then a child does! I had been trying to get Jared to watch up with me for quite sometime while we were dating. One day he told me he had something really special planned and not to plan anything for that Saturday. I was so excited wondering what this surprise may be. Jared is not one to just plan some sort of surprise for me. So that Saturday i went to his house and he took me to the gas station we picked up a lot of snacks and some drinks. We drove to a park in Bluffdale where there were lots of families gathered and a big movie screen was  set up! He took me to see up in the park he had a ton of blankets in his trunk and everything! I was one of my favorite dates!

      Jared  is a structural engineer and one of the projects he was a part of was engineering the up house! We got to go to a special builders open house and see all the cool decorations they had that were totally just like the movie! I am so lucky to have such a great hard worker.

                                                        

         Ok so now we are to the engagement story! I went this last august on a girls trip with Kajsia and Ashley to celebrate Ashley's 21st birthday! We had planned forever for this trip we even made reservations at the Blue Bayou inside pirates for dinner. On the day after Ashley's birthday we were anxiously waiting in the Alice in wonderland ride line. All of a sudden i got a Picture message from Jared It looked like main street, But why would he be sending me a picture of that from his house, I ignored it confused and he sent it again. I said, "Um cool what is that". All he sent back was a picture of the tiki room my heart started beating a million miles a hour. I looked and my friends and asked "uh you guys is Jared here?" They looked all confused and said, " I don't think so why?" I showed them their pictures and they started freaking out! Jared then text if you think i am here come find me.By this point we were already on the ride and not only that IT KEPT BREAKING DOWN!! I was dying! Finally when we got off we booked it to his next picture of the pirate ship then the steam boat, Thunder Mountain, The Matterhorn, Space Mountain then Sleeping Beauty's Castle. I walked up to him standing under the arch he gave me a huge hug and a kiss. He then said, " Tayler I love you so much and there is nobody i would rather spend the rest of my life or eternity with" He knelt on one knee and then popped the question, " Will you marry Me?" Needless to say it was the happiest day of my life so far! Then i got to spend the rest of the day with him there going on rides with us aren't I lucky?

                                      

Beginings

I have decided to give in and do a silly cheesy sappy blog of Jared and I's doings. I would like to start off by saying I met Jared February 8th 2009. I being a young 18 almost 19 year old girl got recruited to go to the singles ward. Earlier that day two ward missionaries came to my door and asked if i would like to come to ward prayer that evening. I was hesitant but i obviously couldn't be a jerk and just say no so i agreed to going. That evening i sat there among about 20 singles most of which seemed to be a lot older then me. Jared was late to ward prayer that night (even though it was at his house). I watched as he came in and sat on the floor right across from me and thought how cute he was. As many of you might know if you have been to a singles ward activity a lot of these events are set up so get you to mingle in a co-ed fashion. So we started out the ward prayer with a game of whats your name and what are you doing for valentines day. I remember sitting there hoping that he would say he was single and when it got to him i was very glad to learn that he was. After the thought and the prayer took place all the singles feasted over some delicious store bought cookies. I on the other hand was more interested on how i could get him to notice me. I went over to where he and a group of people were standing and sat myself close by, they were talking guns, something i have no knowledge of in the slightest. I shot over a few smiles and tried to casually insert comments into the conversation. Jared soon asked if i had ever been shooting i told him i haven't and he asked if i would like to go sometime. I said i would love to and gave him my number. Four days later on the 12th he asked if i would like to go shooting with him the following day. I was sooooooooooo excited and gushed to all my hair school friends about the cute boy i had met the Sunday before and how i couldn't wait to go shooting. That Friday i met him at his house and off we went to the shooting range (I would call this our first date, Jared would not). I had such a good time getting to know Jared even though he was pretty quiet. Oh also if you ask Jared about this day he will claim that i tried to shoot him which is completely false so if you hear this story don't believe a word. After that i was a giddy little girl i sat by my phone hoping he would text me and getting butterflies when he did. The next Sunday i got a surprise as i learned that Jared is TEN years older then me holy crap i was shocked! I thought man there is no chance he will ever like someone as young as me! Man did i get lucky! To TRY and make things short I spent the next 8 months hanging out with Jared about two to three times a week cuddling and laughing, Getting off school and driving around for a hour hoping he would invite me over so i could see him again. Finally on his 29th Birthday on September 21st i got off school headed to his house and brought him a birthday present i had picked out (Flight of the Conchords season 2). We cuddled all night and finally he kissed me for the first time and thus our realationship began!
